We have an exciting trip to East Texas planned for April. Our first stop is the highly rated Heritage Village Museum in Woodville, where a docent will show us the collections of buildings arranged as a pioneer town dated between the 1840's through 1920's. While there, we will be treated to boarding house style all you can eat fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, country vegetables, cobbler, biscuits and cornbread at the Pickett House Restaurant. On the way back to the church, we will stop at the Big Thicket Visitor Center near Kountze to view the exhibits and watch a short film about the important nature preserve.
We depart from the church at 7:45 am and should be back by 5:00 pm. The cost for everything including lunch is $24. Follow the instructions contained in the signup email (click button below) on where to send your check.
We hope to see you there! As always, All parishioners age 50+ are welcome.
