We close out our 22/23 bus trip season with a play at the Alley Theatre called The Servant of Two Masters. The play is described as follows: “Identities are mistaken, engagements are broken, and lovers are reunited in this world premiere adaptation of Carlo Goldoni’s commedia dell’arte masterpiece. Set in Venice, mayhem erupts when the wily—and chronically hungry—servant Truffaldino hatches a zany scheme to double his wages (and his meals) by serving two masters at once. Directed by Rob Melrose, this physical comedy classic will have you laughing at and loving our hapless hero.” Before the play, we will have dinner together at Osso & Kristalla, a modern Italian trattoria near Minute Maid Park owned by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane.
We depart from the church at 4:15 pm (NEW TIME) and should be back by 10 pm.
Cost for the play is $23 (non-refundable).
There are only a few spots left for this outing - signup now if you are interested!
